Here at EYECAN we have been servicing and repairing Braille writing machines for many years. We specialise in the Perkins ‘Classic’ Brailler, but we are happy to take a look at any type of machine.
Originally Alan did all the repair work himself but is now helped where necessary by a fully sighted assistant.
We pride ourselves on our friendly and cost-effective service, keeping you informed about any work required and keeping costs to a minimum. We can undertake most repairs and servicing needs, even for old or rare machines that are no longer supported by other repairers.
If you have an email address we can send you a postage label to print and fix to the box so you can easily send your machine to us.
So if your Brailler is not working like it should, give us a call or drop us an e-mail for a no-obligation quote.
Special note on packing Perkins ‘Classic’ Braillers:
Please do not send classic Perkins machines it their wooden case as this makes them over weight for the free postage label. Just pack them well in bubble wrap, ensuring the paper roller knobs are well protected because these can be vulnerable if they get dropped by the postman!
